Want to get Ready for JTF2

I'm a Canadian forces soldier, at the moment I'm trying out for what I suppose you would call a tier 2 SOF unit, I want to do the 3 years required there, do that job (because I think it's very unique) and after that I'd like to try out for JTF2 our tier 1 SOF unit. So the way I see it, I've got 3 years to get ready.

I'm skeptical of this mentoring program but I'm dedicated to succeeding so I'll explore all avenues.

Any advice is welcome, if you'd like to talk one on one I'm open to that as well.
