Zero tolerance has morphed into one of the most abused instruments of "safety" that I have seen.

Personally, I think it has become the instrument of many "lazy" administrators and LE entities.

What started out as something to prevent kids from bringing a "dangerous instrumentality" to school has become the "end-all" for lazy people who don't want to properly investigate an issue to determine "right from wrong" and "self-defender from aggressor."
