Was happy to see Gil from Houston nail the $10K, and have the fastest time to boot.

Was surprised to see them set up near work last week. They filmed a qualifier on Fri. and Sat.
When I've watched it on t.v., I've always thought to myself, I could crush that course (those thoughts may or may not have been influenced by some liquid courage)
. Truth is, the scale is much more impressive in person. It was amazing to see how many contestants failed to move beyond just the 3rd obstacle.
Still, it would've been fun to give it a shot but evidently registration took place some time ago; no walk up registration. Also, filming was at crazy hours...something like 8pm, 12am, and 3am.

Still love it, but obvious it is getting too big.
A whole obsticles set up around the new Mission Impossible movie (with clips shown during the performance).
2 full minutes of commercials while while they show another runner doing the course in a small corner of the screen. Looked like a good run too, would have liked to hear the play-by-play.

The double jumps was a killer. The designers knew what they were doing, slow is smooth and you had to be slow and smooth to get through.
