I don't think anyone has ever won one of those bets that we did to see who could chug one that's been out there all day without puking.
I know a good (two trips to Iraq) Soldier who got out when the West Point Lt told him he was too slow to be in the infantry.

I remember getting issued maps of Kuwait in 90-91. They really were, basically, a white sheet of paper with a couple of squiggly lines going thru it.
