Not Work Safe .

K9 lives matter!

I recall taking a USAR medic and SWAT medic class and having training/evolutions with K9 emergencies.

Definitely a different but same treatment pathway, stop bleeding, start breathing. I can't can't how many dogs I've tried to resuscitate from house fires.

FBI HRT once did this as well when one of their K9s was shot. The difference was that the HRT bubbas had a medical element who had the dog tubed, lined, and bilateral chest needles done with fluids and some meds on board when they landed. Vet staff was a bit shocked when the Blackhawk landed and dudes in armor ran in with the dog worked up to that extent.

We had a few dogs flown into the vet trauma center in my former AO as well.

There shouldn’t be a state in the nation that prevents ambulances/helos from transporting K9s. But there are.

"Fuck" is the most useful word in the English language. It is a verb, a noun, an adverb, an adjective and a pronoun and has many other functions.

I worked with a guy from NYC who wielded it like a scalpel, in the most artistic and beautiful of ways: "What do you mean you don't have any transfuckingportation?" "Why are you smoking when you've had two myofuckingcardial infarctions?"

And the answer to those questions could just be "fuck it" It's a very utilitarian word.
