So, I taste tested the Snake Eater Bourbon (85 proof) and found it to be decent sipping whisky, at least to my tastes...the Two Bitch bourbon was okay as well, although I liked it less than the Snake Eater...I'd have no hesitation serving the Snake Eater neat to my peer and would certainly fill my flask with it before an SF funeral, whereas I think the Two Bitch is best if mixed or served to in-laws or your exes current sperm donor...your mileage may vary, but this is how I see the world rotating...BTW, I followed the tasted test with Hooten Young 12 year old, just to verify my conclusions. Snake Eater A-, B+...Two Bitch B, B-...

Eagle Rare 25 year retails for $10,000

So $900/ounce is actually cheap. Probably because you can't sell if you if you try $2,000/ounce.

I was in downtown San Antonio playing army for the weekend. There's a lot of whiskey places there. That was the only one that I thought was excessive, and even when we went over to Whiskey Cake for dinner on Saturday did I think the prices pretty respectful. A lot of buffalo trace stuff. You'd think they'd be a markup on them.

For anyone near Orlando, Tampa, or Sarasota - check out Corona Cigar. Their prices used to be absurdly cheap and they have a great selection of bourbon. Last time I was down in Tampa (2020), they had multiple years of BTAC for like $8 an ounce. Second ounce was 50% off.
