Biggest viral outbreaks are about a month into a float. Not as bad as but nearly as bad as boot camp for viral outbreaks.

The real fear (as espoused by BUMED) is bringing Marines aboard after being deployed somewhere like tropical Africa where there is a number of nasty pathogens.
