Ok, I feel old... I remember the start of Best Ranger in the mid 80's... even gave up my best jungle boots to one of my Phase 3 (Robin Sage) teammates who was chosen to compete after he came to 10th SFG(A)… Bill never gave the damn boots back, but he was on the 3rd place team. Not bad since they found out they were going about 2 weeks prior to the competition.
