Critically Manned?

I was wondering if anyone knows if this is considered a critically manned AFSC or not. I have been talking with an Operator over here and he said that the career field is only at about 60% manned. This leads me to believe it is undermanned, just like PJ/CCT, etc. I know my best bet is to check with MPF, but they are not always right, so I thought I would check here too. The reason I ask is because I want to crosstrain ASAP into SOWT, and if it is considered undermanned, then I can crosstrain at my 1/2 way mark rather than at my 59th month.

Thank you Sir!

I checked at and one of the members informed me that SOWT is a critically manned AFSC. I thought I would post that here too in case anyone else was wondering.

Good point! I looked at it recently and SOWT, Nuke. Weapons, PJ, and ISR seem to consistently have FTA slots. But I'll check again prior to submitting paperwork.
I know it's a a bit late but an interview from 2009 says there are only 78 SOWT in the Air Force. Even if there was a big growth in the past 4 years, I would still guess that it's critically manned.
