Exercise Emerald Warrior 2010 was hosted by Air Force Special Operations Command and was based out of Hurlburt Field. The joint service exervise is the single largest exercise in US Special Operations Command.

Some of the slowest fastroping I've seen. Any NSW units involved in this Exercise??
Think they allready said who, what and where....
Crawl, walk,run.
Many of the non-US troops have never fast roped before. You should try it before criticizing these guys.

x2. Everyone that has been below a new/unexperienced troop on a fastrope has a completely different view. Believe me, slow is fine in training.
Looked like a lot of moving pieces though- some of my friends said they had a great time. Good post.

If/when I ever have a chance to fast-rope, I'm taking my time getting it right. I'd rather start out slow, as opposed to ending up on the ground with a broken neck.
As for the video, thanks for posting it Jasion! I've passed it along to quite a few people.
