Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands is pretty awesome.

Thanks for the recommendation. I've pretty much done everything I need/want to do in Red Dead-2, and I saw Ghost Recon has a new version coming out pretty soon (Breakpoint). I'm going to get through the Wildlands version and then buy the new version after that.

I haven't been this excited for a Call of Duty game in a long time.

Please GOD tell me there is a campaign version to this game!!!!

EDIT: YES, HELL YES there is one!!

"I attended a presentation at Infinity Ward's studio in southern California earlier this month, where details about the singleplayer campaign (yes, it has one) were revealed, along with a look at some of the tech behind the game."

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare arrives October 25, and here's the trailer

Supposedly the new COD is already so controversial people are talking about country bans again. Similar to the No Russian mission or whatever it was called. I guess they're going for realism on a different level. IE - is this woman/child a civilian or a threat? Not sure what crowd they are going after there.
Take cover on social media.
Angry mom posts incoming.

They better not censor or cut things out of it ....

Damn how you get to go to their studio. My childhood dream was to go to the SOCOM studio for the SEAL game. Congrats you are lucky.
from the trailer it looks like Syria, White hats pulling people out of rubble, wonder if it's going to be ISIS'like related. Would make sense with the Syria footage and apparent Europe terrorist attack.

But who knows.
Hope so I feel like when I kicked the bad guys asses as a kid it helped are military out.

It's a fictional middle eastern country in which you will fight as a rebel soldier. So, Syria stand-in.

Rebel? Hell, I want to be SAS Price!! ;-)

Edit: Saw this on a game tech review, supports Cookie's statement

"Each of the two revealed missions features soldiers from the game's rival factions: the "Tier-One Operator," a London SAS sergeant who battles alongside the familiar, cigar-chomping Captain John Price; and the "Rebel Fighter," the aforementioned woman from a country full of poppy fields and vaguely Arab citizens (presumably Afghanistan, but Activision won't say)."
