Long story short, currently a FireFighter in a fairly sleepy town not too far from the 19th SFG in Utah. I just started Paramedic school.
I stumbled upon the 19th SFG advertising 68w support positions and am looking for info on their role in the group. I contacted a recruiter but he's not been giving me much beyond flashing a bunch of high speed schools in front of me.
Basically I'm wondering how a 68w might support and work with the 18D's, what role they play when deployed, and any potential for augmenting/sharpening civilian Paramedic skills. I'm under no illusions of going to SOCM or anything like that. Any feedback would be appreciated.
