My great grandfather on my mother's side was Robert Jaimeson, from Grimster on Yell in the Shetlands, said to have been the best fiddle player there. Welcome.

I've only spent about 3 days in Scotland, In Edinburgh, It remains one of my favourite cities in the world.

My mother was a MacGregor, When I told people that they would shake my hands and say "Welcome back" very warmly, then we would go on to disparage the damned Sassenachs }:-)

I look forward to going back and visiting my family lands etc...

Greetings....:D

I was just in Edinburgh last summer. Also made a stop at Inveraray, to see the ancestral grounds. Glad to have you aboard!

Welcome to the site. I've got scottish ancestry both sides; although I didn't develop a taste for single malt till long after I'd been there!

If ya don't like golf, do ya go fishing? :)

All the best to you and yours!
