Hey guys. Going down to Cali next week for some TCCC training with Secfor International. That training is part of a 42 day "High Threat Protection Specialist" pipeline. I only planned on attending the medical portion, but thinking about asking my Voc Rehab person if I could do the whole thing. Unlikely my current employer would be okay with me leaving for that duration, so I might potentially come out of it unemployed (but maybe more employable?)
I know some of these kinds of courses have been a rip in the past, so I wanted to know what the SS community thought of this training. How likely is it to make someone who is a combat veteran but has no special operations experience more employable in the security contractor industry? Or even possibly in federal law enforcement that has similar missions, such as US Marshals with their judicial security mission?
