My name is Thad Jackson and I served in 1/75 from 1998 to 2002. I enrolled in college in 2005 and remained in academia. I've taught finance and economics at University of Alabama (grad school), Eastern Kentucky University, and Arkansas State University (current). I've heard about this forum a few time though I cannot recall the specific source at the moment--in posts or conversation with friends from days long past, most likely. Not a day goes by that I don't think of men I served under and with, what I learned from them, and the powerful influence their virtues have on my students' lives as I endeavor to honor those who honored me with the leadership and brotherhood. Any veterans considering going to college or who already attend are welcome to ask for advice. I've acquired significant insight into college life from my experience while in and I'm pleased to share everything I know with fellow veterans and those connected to them.
