Afternoon - old bloke, Chef, ex Royal Fleet Auxilary Rtd.
Highlight, had the honour of taxiing UKSF to South Georgia and Falklands during Operation Corporate. Everything else was just day to day bobbing about, RASing other RN vessels. Grandfather served WW1, Father served WW2 & Korea, seems I joined up just as UK Navy became more of a policing & support force for other services. On the bright side I've enjoyed the brotherhood of being part of a crew and travelled the world. Currently working for UK Civil Service.
