Introducing the Caveman

@Freefalling...this pic and incident occurred in Farah Province in late 2004. I was the Ops NCOIC (an E-4 doing an E-7 job) at the newly created FoB/PRT.

@Boon...that little party took nearly a full day to get everything out of the hole. They originally called in for a CH-47 thinking that they could sling it to the helo and pull it out. Wasn't gonna happen when the Boss heard that come over the radio. Eventually they got enough dug out around it to use our Deuce and a winch to get it out.

@QC Hell No I could never handle BUD/S lol but maybe the driver of that Humvee should go. LOL

Please notice that the water where they are standing is barely ankle deep and less than 15 feet away in a sinkhole sits the Uparmor Humvee. They had crossed several other wadi's with a bit of water flowing so they naturally figured this one would be fine too. I wish I had the video of the soldiers scrambling to get out through the gunner's hatch.
