So it seems that Introduction is a mandatory thing on this forum.
Hey everyone.I'm from Israel,always been a special forces enthuasit.Still too young to be one(16),and i don't think that my health problems will allow me to be one.But still,love everything about it,did alot of research and talked to alot of guys from these units,got alot of respect for the SF community.found this site on another forum.

Welcome. I'm assuming you're 16 and not 18 or else you would have been conscripted into the IDF already. Either way, do well in your service with them and you might see that door for SF open up.

You can still serve in a SF unit support role - unless your health issues result in exemption from military service. Have you been for tzav rishon? If so, what's your profile?

Not yet,i think it will be 64-72.Don think i will get 82.

WIth 64 you can go to anti aircraft and with 72, there is no porblem keeping you from tanks or artillery.

Maybe not SF, but certainly combat units.

With either 64 or 72, you could probably provide support (non-combat) SF units.

Don't sweat it too much now, wait until Tzav Rishon and simply tell the pretty young soldier girl what you want to do.

By the way,what is the profile needed for 504?,read alot about this unit.Sounds really intersting,i heard that they do basic with golani(robai 07) so it means i need profile 82?

Tanks and Artilery is VERY contibuting services; infantrymen are cannon fodder.
504 is good, but not what it was, I won't discuss that anymore here.
Any rifleman rating of 07 requires 82 or higher BUT depending on why the recruit has 72 or 64, they can sign a waiver and still do it. I would NOT recommend that as if the recruits injuries/illness gets worse during service, although they will be treated they will not be eligible as a disabled veteran due to the waiver. That, and they will probably be endangering their brothers in arms.
What are your medical issues?
