Hello,
My name is Josh, I am currently waiting to go to basic, and killing time until then. I'm a former 3 sport athlete in high school and participated in Cross Country, Wrestling, and Track. I am excited to be a part of these forums and hopefully to one day to find myself as one of the best.

Welcome.
What branch got you to sign the dotted line?

ETA: I just read your first post. You have a lot to learn.

The Army did. I have always been interested in being a Ranger honestly. I am not shy to say that it started with "Black Hawk Down." Then I read the entire book a few times and realized that the event took place 2 days before my birthday. So I've been drawn to the Army SOF idea for a long time now.

My liaison at MEPS happened to be SF. I saw his challenge coins and asked him about them. Then he told me about how some of them come from the battalions you have been in. He then proceeded to take a coin out of his pocket and spun it on the desk. When it finally finished spinning it had the "De Oppresso Liber" written on it. He then told me that since I didn't pull one out that I had to buy him a drink.

I selected a 15W. I had a 68W lined up, but there was a computer error and it erased it :/ I was hoping to get 11x or 12b but they weren't available. I am happy with my job though. Good options after the military.
