Hello gentlemen,

I am currently an active duty boot in the Marine Corps. I am stationed at NAS Pensacola as a student for airframe mechanics. What brought me to this site was my desire to become a MARSOC Operator. From looking at forums as a guest I've noticed there are a lot of informational posts on the training pipeline and how to train for A&S so I figured I would make a account to learn about ways to prepare my self for the challenge. I know i need to be an NCO before I can try to get accepted but if I start training early I believe it will give me an advantage over my peers. Any information on how to get accepted and good pt routines would be helpful. Thank you.

I'm active duty and only been in for 5 months and I'm not sure if your familiar with the Marine Corps but they call Marines fresh out of boot camp "boots"

Devildog I am going to help you out here. If you look below his username (8654Maine) where the user title goes it says "Recon Marine"

Welcome aboard Marine.... Now... go get a box of grid squares from supply. You need to drive there, so hit the Motor pool and grab the keys to a Humvee.

Good reminder! And before you get to supply be sure to fill out the I.D.10T forms!
