Greetings, I am honored to be among you, although I am somewhat of an outsider... I served at the "Norwegian Army Pararanger School" - HJS (that's the long official name per NATO) in a support role. Earned my free fall wings in the spring of 1989 at Trandum. Camp has since been leveled and is now the new Oslo Int'l Airport (OSL).
Made many friends in Marine Recon groups that came over for winter warfare training, specially during Operation "Avalanche". Also made some Seal friends from MD - Hey, Rick.
After jumping out of planes I decided to stay in them, so I moved to the U.S. and flew for US Airways Express and Delta Connection for a while. Currently working on my U.S. Citizenship (yes, I am here legally, I did it the hard way... I married) so I can replace some worthless idiots in elected position locally here in Georgia.
I am by definition a "rule breaker" and I apologize for not posting my intro before i Started my search for ODA 322 members form 1965-68.

Welcome. Thanks for your service. I am a huge fan of Norway, the NORSOF guys in general, especially the MJK. Spent some good times with B Sq a couple years ago. AOWWC graduate and all that.

Skal!

Skal! Nothing like some Akevit to keep one warm on those chilly and dark winter nights (and days too for that matter). Had a drill Sgt who came from MJK to us at HJK/HJS. Very cool guy.
