Skip was a legend most people have never heard of... It was an honor to have met him a few times at Chapter functions prior to his passing... the 1st SFG(A) Command team made a pretty good showing...
Echoed pipers for Amazing Grace, a Bugler from the 58th Army Band for Taps, and a 3 Volley salute... it got a bit dusty in the Chapel.
A homecoming is a good reason to have not been in attendance - Skip would have approved of being there for his boys, which is how he viewed every SF Soldier.
