Hello SS, my name is Mike. Neither current military or a veteran, I have joined your network because I have three years of security and role playing services/support contracting experience supporting United States National Guard, U.S. Navy Seals EOD and U.S. Army Special Operations Forces ( Civil Affairs and Special Forces). I am interested in networking and expanding my experience is this field. Thank you for the opportunity!

Hello.

Do you intend to enlist?

You should go back to your profile and change the "background" portion, its reads like you are portraying yourself to be what you are not.
Thank you for explaining it here in your intro but you do need to fix the background section.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply. I have no tentative plans for enlisting but the opportunity arises itself often. The thought is in my head and might end up happening. I have checked out your Mentor Program section and seems very interesting I may take part.

I apologize I have went to my page a realized that what I had written in that section was cut off, I guess my background was to long? Still I have only put in my background what I have personally experienced and is all truthful. Please explain how "it reads like" i am portraying myself to be someone I am not?? Those are very strong words.

I see you have changed your background in your profile to what is acceptable. Good.

I will explain nothing to you, you were given direction by a member of staff, you will follow that instruction or you will be gone, it's that simple.
Very strong words? Not as strong as what I will use if you start being a smartass.

Enjoy the site, I suggest you spend sometime reading and seeing how we run things here.

I only asked you to explain your statement after I apologized and informed you my message was cut off so that I could have your expertise in changing my background to what was acceptable for your site. Thankfully one of the members came with some helpful words

Be careful with your tone...

Listen, this is a Military site, the vast majority of members are Military, we understand what is acceptable behavior for a Military site because of our backgrounds. You are not Military and don't understand us deep down, that is not something that we will hold against you, but you must understand that with everything you do here, YOU must conform to us. This is our site, our community and we run it how we want it. We don't bend to other peoples expectations.

Like I said, spend some time looking around the site for a while, I hope you learn a thing or two here.

Quit arguing with the Staff, you have 3 years role playing, most of the staff have that just in military schools, on top of real world experience. You are a hired actor, nothing more, based on your profile page...

Check your attitude. Check your tone. Check other's profiles, before you mouth off next time, is that understood? Or... would you prefer a call to some of the managers at the 'role playing' companies you contract to?

Think about it, nothing above is a threat, just real world application of what you think you know.

I believe my "tone" has been misjudged being that I am typing. Speaking as humble as possible I apologize again for the misunderstanding and look forward to conforming this site. Thank You! I hope I learn a lot here
