What's up everyone, my name is XXXXX, serving in the Air Force currently. I'm stationed at Vandenberg AFB in Cali, this is my second duty station. Been in for 2 years and some change, about to put on E-4. As of right now, I'm a security forces member, but I am desperately trying to either cross train or palace chase into TACP. I've wanted this for a long time, and I cannot wait for my chance to prove myself. I've signed up to recieve any and all guidance I can get from those who've been through it, are going through it, or just happen to know some useful information. No sir, not typically. It makes it easy to confuse with Special Forces, which we are nowhere close to. And I would never pretend to hold that title until I earn it.

Welcome to SS. I PCS'ed to VAFB, from USAFE in the early 80's. I had the corner house on Arbor Dr. Have you visited the Naval wreckage off the SLC side of the base? I remember well the daily morning fog that would burn off around 0930, and roll back in near sunset. Be sure to visit Solvang while you are there.

Small world. I have not visited either of those but will do! Yes the fog comes and goes about those times, but has it's random roll ins as well
