Introduction

I served at HCS-4 and its successor HSC-84 between '03 and '13, which is a Naval helicopter squadron that supports SOF as their primary mission. I started on the maintenance side, working on the birds until '07. In '07 I switched to become an Aircrewman. I qualified as a gunner and then later as a crew chief. I did multiple tours in Iraq as part of a JSOAD/JSOAC, as both maintenance and a gunner/crew chief.
I received an honorable discharge in '13 and started attending college. I guess it is time to get a 'real job.'

Glad you got to do work with 4 and 5. I miss the 'HCS' days.
