Hello, My name is Ian. I've lurked this site for a while now, and recently signed an 11x option 40 contract and am currently in the DEP awaiting to ship in the early fall (not sure if I should mention specific month due to OPSEC, I apologize if I'm being silly). I always wanted to join the military while I was in college, and after spending some time traveling abroad and developing a much greater appreciation of how amazing our country is, I knew what I had to do. As I have officially sworn in and am now awaiting my ship date, I wanted to make an official introduction just to say that this community has given me so much motivation and guidance over the last few months. Thank you to all of you who have served this country and continue to offer your wisdom, I can only hope to one day join your ranks!
