Hello all,
I am 25 years old, have a bachelors degree in political science. I am married, no children. I am currently working a desk job as a stock broker, but had always had aspirations of a career in the military, specifically SF. I recently became aware of 18x contract, up until then, I had thought I was too old... or had to many hurdles to overcome (medical, legal) which is really where my hesitation still lies. I do have some great resources to leverage currently, some former sf friends and some active duty, of whom do not think that my hurdles will ultimately stop me. I do however, realize that my “issues” will make things more difficult. I just don't want to have any regrets in not attempting to pursue this dream of mine, it feels like it is truly now or never. Looking to gather more information to make a better more well informed decision moving forward. Glad to be here.
