Hello everyone!
My name is CJ, and I'm a current junior in college studying Political Science and minoring in Military Leadership.
I have wanted to work in military intelligence since I was 12 years old. Due to epilepsy as a child (I'm 7 years seizure free), I am unable to enlist. Instead of switching career goals, I researched other ways I could work in an intelligence role for the military. This is how I discovered this website.
I learned about the intelligence specialist (0132) job series and how a very small number of DOD civilians work in support roles for Special Mission Units (DEVGRU, CAG, etc.). After learning this, I started researching internship and entry-level positions with different DOD intelligence agencies (ONI, NSA, and DIA). I've also begun to teach myself Egyptian Arabic and Spanish to bolster my chances when I apply. Thank you.
