Israel and Iran

You ought to see the teeth gnashing and fangs flaring from the eurowussies when they respond to a video, any video where a vehicle gets destroyed for fun despite it being obvious that it is well past it's service life.

F 'em. Ask them if they paid for it. No? Were their money taxed for it at least? Also no? Then they have no say in this matter or with Iran or Israel.

We use larger vehicles and ships for targets than some nations have in their entire arsenal.

The comment below from Gen McKenzie is kind of interesting and seems to represent a pretty significant shift in cultural mindset between this administration and that of previous administrations.

An overly risk adverse mindset seems to have been the predominant view with previous administrations. This administration seems to have more confidence and commitment to our capabilities. At the risk of making a poor analogy, I liken it to playing prevent defense in football; the difference between "playing to win" and "playing not to lose".

Sure. They are not the majority. Our whole country is just a cold California. Nothing but Liberal's.

Oh I'm not saying they aren't cold Californian's, they just enjoy the Freedom they have when living here and would vote us into oblivion if they had a chance lols.

What's that joke about Navy SEALs? They tell you who they are?

"If you've ever been a SERE instructor wanting to gloat after a very successful use of SERE from Iran and then fap to it hard, go ahead and hit that like & subscribe button."

What's interesting to me as a history nerd, and I'll tag @amlove21 if he has amplifying info or needs to correct my dumbass, is how often the AF wants to scale back the Rescue community. The crazy thing to me as an outsider is that we put a premium on bringing everyone home but periodically want to neuter or eliminate the best capability in the world, bar none. Hell, they rescued a future Chief of Staff of the Air Force during Bosnia. When you look at what the AF does for personnel rescue and recovery, not only do they have dedicated units, they have whole AFSC's devoted to the mission. They have the only SERE AFSC/ MOS in the whole of the DoW with SERE specialists down to the base or Wing level. Afghanistan deployed 2 or 3 per major base to brief aircrew and provide their expertise.

Seeing the AF tout their rescue capability while trying to neuter it is wild. As I understand it, the AF even went so far as to purchase an aircraft (HH-60W) that was unwanted by the rescue community.

Big Air Force gonna' Big Air Force I guess.

I'd have to admit that PJ's are clearly the "SF Medics" of Combat Search and Rescue.
Well done gents - well done indeed !!!

...its really hard to come up with sincere words of praise that don't cause their ugly little heads to swell up.

Perfect post. 10/10, no notes.

Okay I am seeing what I am assuming to be on social media is misinformation that there has been reports of the Left wishing the rescues of our servicemen to fail. Has anyone seen it being posted or can confirm it from reliable sources?
One of the reasons I left JSOC and went into academia was that I realized there were many politicians who wanted us to fail in Iraq and Afghanistan because it was advantageous to them politically. They happened to be on the left, but it could have just as easily been the other side of the aisle.

But given the current situation in our country, I would guarantee, sight unseen, that there are PLENTY of leftists in our country who would celebrate that, or any other, military failure.

In all my time in under both Clinton and Obama or as a born again civilian with Biden, not ever once did I wish our boys to fail despite whom was giving the orders at the WH. Am I an American, or am I a political partisan? If choosing to be on Team USA makes me a fascist Nazi bootlicker coward, then so effing be it. I'll own that with pride and be lacing them boots up nice & tight spit shiny an all, with a straight posture while strutting it doing my best Saturday Night Fever sidewalk strut.

Thank you for choosing to do what you can from where you can.

Yes. Just....yes.

I've been called every name in the book because I was in the military and because I support the military. It used to infuriate me. Now I just shrug.

Am I missing something?

Read the tweet he quoted, the Drop-Site is an Iranian media owned site that his wife randomly published an article on.

They're quoting another Iranian owned media site:

Iranian state-linked Tasnim News, citing a military source, claims U.S. forces are bombing areas in southwest Iran where a missing pilot may be located, alleging Washington has “lost hope” of recovery and is attempting to kill him.

Bolded part for emphasis.
