For whatever reason I loved watching him sweep brass at the end of the video....I really want to 'like' this dude and so far he's given me no reason not to.

Concur 100%.

He seems humble and clearly not so full of his fame that he can't sweep brass. Everything I read or hear about the guy is totally solid, as evidenced by this recent story:
