Konan, but not that Cimmerian guy

If you've just picked up the wife's copy of a book with some Fabio like guy on the front cover and the word savage in the title, it's 'erotic fiction'.

If you're reading a story in a playboy magazine...you're just reading porn, bub.

"Recon Rick was pounding the hell out of 3rd Comm. LCpl. Annie..." :p

Oh yeah, welcome to the site OP. :)

Not necessarily. Took just two paragraphs to know. Yes I write hot romance featuring military characters.

You have a link to your stories?
I'll have a go at anything once, not sure I've read any hot military romance.

I'm a few chapters into a hardcore anti-terrorist/special operations action novel.
I'm currently debating using the Taliban Hunting Club as the actual title of the book.
I've written a couple of other novels, still on option to a publisher.
Thinking I'll ebook this next one, as I'm running out of patience with paper publishers.
Too many times I've had submission replies such as: "Enjoyed the story a great deal, but we feel it's not quite right for us."
Or: "A well written and intelligent novel, but a little too far outside the accepted genre for the mainstream reading public."
(He means it wasn't a Twilight clone I think.)
Hell, who knows. Certainly most of the major publishers seem clueless as to what will sell, as evidenced by the number of ebook authors who are selling well, most of whom were rejected by mainstream publishers to begin with.
One editor said my writing reminded him of Hemingway, then told me he didn't like Hemingway.
I just shrug and keep on writing.
