Hello Shadowspear,

I am 22, graduated from Va Tech in May, and have sworn in with an 11x option 40 leaving in January 2016. My main purpose for joining is to express my gratitude towards the contributors of the site. Over the last 2 years, while remaining a guest, I have read and learned much. Beyond the answers to basic questions, this site has provided a glimpse into the mentality and culture of the community I hope to earn my way into.

Originally, I had no intentions of making posts beyond an introduction before I gained some experience, but a situation has arose that I would appreciate some guidance on if anyone is willing. I have searched the site through Google, but will use the search function now that I am a member, before I post anything in the appropriate forum.

Thanks to everybody for the welcome. I will keep the site updated as I go through the process, and regardless of outcome, I hope to be able to "pay it forward" with lessons learned. First, though, I need to get my foot taken care of and get on the bus to Ft. Benning.
