Anyone seen The Seven Five, on Netflix? It is about the 75 precinct in Brooklyn in the 80's and early 90's. Shit is wild...

And REALLY well done. I liked the documentary-without-narration approach; it was much more effective to let the people tell the story.

I watched it about a month ago, IIRC. Pretty wild to hear it direct from the dudes involved just how far in they got.

Perhaps the greatest series of the '80s is only available on youtube. It was written and directed by horror author Garth Marenghi, with music tracks inspired by tunes whistled by Marenghi. It follows the supernatural adventures of doctor Rick Dagless at Darkplace Hospital.

American Ninja Warrior tonight was good.

Agreed!

The Army dude with the brain damage was bleeding worse than anyone I'd ever seen on the show before. That obstacle is dangerous to the head/nose if you are not careful.

To add - The Army group on the next show, Spartans, would have won if there was not the confusion with the shields.

I've started a 2017 A.N.W. thread by the way....

American Ninja Warrior - 2017 - Begins tonight - 06.12.17

I watched it a couple of times when it was on one of the movie channels, SHO, or HBO. The amount of money they went through was mind numbing. Micheal literally had a license to steal get away with it. What is surprising is how long all the other cops knew and said NADA. I was left with a confusing picture of where the line was between being a good cop, and a bad cop.

Anyone watch Turn: Washington's Spies? I started watching it when it first came out but lost track of it. Recently I played catchup on Netflix and binged until I was caught up. It's a great show.
