The season ended on The Handmaid's Tale in a big way. Amazing show.

I also ended up watching the Slender Man documentary recently- I was riveted the entire time. It's on HBO but I assume you can find it somewhere for free.

There is a newer one called Mommy Dead and Dearest that is also super crazy. Mental illness ain't nothing to fuck with.

Just finished "Noble," a short Netflix series about a fictional Norwegian SF officer and his team. While the majority of dialogue is in Norwegian, the translated subtitles are easy to follow and comprehend. I enjoyed the interesting plot and attention to detail, and wished it was longer than eight episodes.

As a side note, I've been impressed with Netflix's in-house productions and hope they maintain the quality.

Once I got past the first episode or two which establishes the characters, I found the show compelling. I had noticed the actor playing the SF officer, Aksel Hennie, in another Norwegian production "headhunters" available on Netflix streaming. This got pretty good reviews as well.

I'll have to check that out next!

So I ended up putting this on hold and watched the first season of Broadchurch. Hands down, one of the best-executed dramas I've seen - IMO, in terms of writing and performance it's a peer to The Wire.

whoa. WHOA.

Let's be careful here with the hyperbole. :-"
Seriously!! "Breaking Bad" holds the title for best drama ever made for television, imho.

Its a very close race, but The Sopranos takes the cake in that category, IMHO.

The prototype and best of current era TV drama.
