My Random TV Thread

I recreated the 82nd Airborne drop on Normandy with an umbrella from the garage roof. Your welcome.

Well, Harvey Weinstein made me play Kate Winslett in a re-creation of the Titanic. #MeToo #IWin #IGotThePartThough

You couldn't just reboot what was once a pretty good TV show without beating us over the head with a message from the beginning, could you?
It used to be a pretty funny show; I enjoyed watching all the way until the final season when they did the lottery bit.

The transgender and LGBT weirdness is part of why I've stopped watching network television and why I avoid certain TV shows like the plague. I'm going to sound like an old man, but television used to be about entertainment. Nowadays, TV shows are pushing SJW agendas and are trying to normalize deviant behaviors that are not the norm in the traditional folkways of American culture.

That being being said, I have no beef with the gay community and what they do behind closed doors is their business. I just don't care to see the LGBTQ agenda masquerading as the new social norm on television.

Ive been watching a lot of the Olympic Channel lately, getting psyched for the Winter Games next month. I expect we'll have a thread on it at some point.

The new Dave Chappelle comedy specials on Netflix are interesting. Not his best work - but funny. I can definitely see why people are mad about what he says - but I think he does a comic's job of helping you see things in a different way. They're worth checking out.

Such a great show. We used to watch it all the time growing up, and then try and re-create certain events in the backyard. Lol.

My sons recreated American Ninja Warrior courses in the backyard. At first it was pretty freaking hilarious, but they are actually getting fairly athletic.

Just finished season 2 of The Crown. Next week starts season 2 of Victoria on PBS.

We did some Curling in the UK. Not too far from The Farm is a gent who floods the floor of a barn and sets up some Curling lanes. The first rule for first-time Curlers, do not drink and Curl, it causes bones to break. ;-)

Pfft! Amateurs. :ROFLMAO: We used to do curling for unit sports, best part was the bar being open at 0700.

Any fans of The Good Place? My opinion, one of the smartest and funniest shows on TV right now....and no laugh track.
