My Random TV Thread

I usually stick to movies or shows I’ve already watched, The Office, Sopranos, classics that are still good. Someone on a different forum recommended Tim Star on Amazon. Really good show so far.

Wife and I are watching The Sopranos. She had never seen it, and it's been years since I watched it.

Binge watching Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Having Coffee (on Netflix)....just watched the episode with former President Obama (while he was still President). He was never my favorite President, but I always enjoyed listening to him speak somewhat candid. This episode is worth watching.

I've been rewatching West Wing. The writing...just damn.

For those who never watched, this is Ainsley...I LOVE Ainsley. She is written in as a Republican working for a Democratic White House. I'm sure they added her to gain a few extra conservative viewers who wanted to watch the hot blond with the sexy voice kick some Liberal ass. It worked....They made her smart, funny, and let her win once in a while.

Watched the new Netflix documentary series Dirty Money yesterday. It's 6 episodes, all based on something involving greed/fraud. The VW emissions scandal, payday lending, Valeant pharmaceuticals, even the Great Maple Syrup Robbery (@RackMaster). Last episode was on Donald Trump and his business history. Really, really good show and well worth a watch.

Just watched the Sinner on netflix this weekend, nicely done 8 episode thriller with Jessica Biel and Bill Pullman. There is no doubt she's the killer, they graphically demonstrate that in the first episode, but the why takes the rest of the series to nut out.

Happy 73rd B'Day Thomas Magnum. Where has the time gone.... (Which would be a GREAT name for an updated episode by the way)

His Jesse Stone series is a great series to watch, not to mention Blue Bloods.

I binge watched the Jesse Stone series and was not disappointed.

Always amazed me how the guy who played the nicest possible guy, turns out to be cancer and toxicity incarnate. I understand it's a role, but the irony is palpable.
