My Random TV Thread

I finished Bright. I read a sequel is in the works, but...

- This should be a series. It is a compelling world and story, but so much is going on that you kind of guess at or take at face value.
- Noomi Rapace looked nothing like Noomi Rapace.
- I like the story and actors.

Good movie, but I don't think it lives up to the hype. Being a movie was actually its greatest weakness.

I thought it would be good as a mini series at least. I'd love more of a backstory that is hinted at.

I'm unsure what the deal is with "Dark" on Netflix. On the face of it, it seems like a rehash of "Stranger Things". Kids disappear in a small town near a nuclear plant in Germany, one of whom ends up dislocated in time back to 1986.
Just 5 episodes into it, and because of the similarities with the other series, I'm losing interest with this "revenge of the eighties" rigamarole about a rigamarole decade.
On the other hand, this was amusing:

I am not an anglophile, but my wife is. She loves The Crown on Netflix, and I admit, I really, really enjoy it.

Princess Margaret is hot...and a naughty little girl.....

Just watched a replay of "American Gladiators" (aka the original American Ninja Warrior...well, that and Superstars). Haha...it was pretty good.
