My Random TV Thread

Since she is a main character why do you watch...?

I like the show overall and it definitely takes some interesting twists. I just wish the main character didn't spend so much time sitting around with an "I'm about to burst into tears" look on her face. I liked her at the start of the show, but I feel like her character has devolved.

I've seen the commercials, and my gf really likes it. I haven't seen any episodes yet. I'll have to check it out in the near future.

Great show, I just made my comment because that's how the female lead conducts herself.

"She's a badass FBI Profiler who....WHY THE FUCK IS SHE CRYING?"

If you had a drinking game where chin weeping or watery eyes from the female lead resulted in a drink, you'd have to eat charcoal by the final scene. Meanwhile, James Spader is causing every female viewer to drop her panties.

I have heard a lot of good stuff about Breaking Bad. Think I am going to give it a whirl on Netflix.

Breaking Bad started out slow for me but picked up pretty good. I thought the character development was amazing. I really enjoyed that show.

Totally agree. I thought Seasons 1 and 2 were a bit iffy, but from 3 forward were amazing. Most series end on a downhill run, but Breaking Bad improved over time.

Good to know. I am ready!

Roger, I don't care for that portion of her character myself.

Going to give "Mulaney" a shot on Fox. I am not a fan of the multi-angle, live audience/laugh track sitcom. John Mulaney is one of the funniest comics working now, so I figure if the writing is good enough it can carry the dated format of the show.
