My Random TV Thread

If anyone has seen Roman Empire on Netflix, they just uploaded season two today! I think this season will center around Julius Caesar but I could be wrong. Fixin to brew some coffee and dive on in.

Ohhhhhh, no I was talking Sharp Objects. There’s a seriously damaged little sister type that’s too young to be hot and too hot to be portrayed as a 12 year old. Lol.

Adora telling Camille she smells "ripe" was both disgusting and hot in ways I'm uncomfortable to explain.

Just watched episode one of Discovery's Hard to Kill with Tim Kennedy. The whole episode was awesome, but the ending was pretty crazy. I'll definitely be tuning in for every episode.

Here's a preview if you haven't seen it.

Have any of you tried CuriosityStream?

It's somewhat intriguing to me but maybe not for a pay service.

If you're like me and use documentaries to fall asleep to as well as just enjoy watching them, it's not bad especially for only 2.99 or whatever it is right now per month. It's a more extensive selection of documentaries and educational based shows than Netflix has by miles.

Amazon Prime has the entire series of The Americans. What a great show. It has to have one of the best series finales in TV, Top 10 or so. Great writing, solid cast, character development throughout the entire series...

I watched it for a while on TV and thoroughly enjoyed it, and had to cull it due to lack of time. But I might start over after I finish Justified.

I hardly ever read fiction, but after next week's finale of Sharp Objects, I have to see how the book compares to the series.

I'd heard of the show but for whatever reason it never grabbed me to check it out. Had some downtime last night and couldn't find anything else of interest. So, I decided to check it out based on your post. Watched the first 3 episodes last night. Thanks! ...didn't realize there are 6 seasons, though. Hopefully, I can make it through...that's a lot of tv time! :-)

BTW, in a timely coincidence, I happened to watch "The 1980's" or whatever it's called (a CNN documentary about the 80's) on Saturday night. The episode focused on Reagan and Russia. It provided a great refresher as a backdrop going into this series.

My middle kid wants me to watch Parks and Rec because he says I am the character named Ron Swanson. For that reason, I will probably bingewatch Westworld.
