Black Mirror is pretty good as well as dark in a good way. It's episodic while still set in the same universe as one another so you can come back to it and start wherever and not feel lost.

Have you watched The Blacklist yet?

Bosch on Amazon Prime.

No, I'll check out both of them, thanks. I tried Britania last night and lasted until halfway through the Hurdy Gurdy Man theme song.

All of us...we're all on the same fucking bus, driven by Satan, going around in aimless monotony hoping to survive long enough to watch Cersei die a hideously painful death...

That was one of many parts of the series where the 10-15 sec ffwd button was employed repeatedly (I ffwd'd through most of the last episode as well). Lol'ed at a "Captain" pulling gate guard. :ROFLMAO:

Granted, we're not Amazon's targeted TV demographic. What we see as asinine, Joe sixpack doesn't. For the hype it was okay, not great, but just okay. Production values and tit shots were great though.

True that.

A couple other things that is grating on me: Is she an ID doc, or an epidemiologist? They are not the same thing.

The little girl being given a device that can hook up to the world wide web. Please; you know people in a safe house are totally off the grid, and security would have checked that.

A lot of scenes are borrowed from other Clancy movies, just tweaked a bit. A rebooting of Jack Ryan should be a clean slate, there is so much to work with.

Still, I do enjoy the show, and will definitely keep watching. My gripes are just that; gripes.

True, but Lena Headey is so damn hot. She owns that character though, like Cersei's an exttension of herself. That kind of makes me warm in ways I won't discuss.....

Have you seen Banshee? If not, place at the top of your list. Available.on Prime. It'll change your life.

Excited for Season 3 of Man in the High Castle (Amazon) coming out October 5th. That'll keep me going until History channel's Vikings Season 6 airs November 28th.

My end-of-series thoughts about Jack Ryan:

Definitely set up for season 2. The drone pilot. The stupidest sub-plot ever, but the last we saw of him was in Syria (really???). Also the ebola twist. That never went anywhere, really, unless it was only to infect that doctor. Is that plot line to die out or be resurrected?

I enjoyed it enough to watch another season.

The drone pilot...totally agree unless that was the longest setup for something in Season 2. The ebola angle was for the doctor and a way to include Dr. Mueller. Beyond that, I don't think it's coming back because there's no need.

It 100% left the door open for a second season. I enjoyed it, but wish it had a few more episodes.

Started watching American Gods to compliment my day drinking due to my job. Pretty good show, trippy, weird, violent. Also has Ian McShane doing monologues every episode basically which is reason enough to go watch it.
