National Protest and 'disband the cops' discussion (and now ICE)

Not sure who needs to hear this, but I repeat myself. Longstanding Mexican American families, anyone whose roots are pre-1950 ain't about the bullshit that exists in California right now. All we ask is you deport the white illegals [and the Asian ones, and the Arab ones, and the Black ones] while you're at it.

Also, liberal white people who keep pushing their nonsense...

But more importantly:

The great astronaut speaks and reminds us that she's stupid.

AI at the beginning; watch the arm of the dude on the right side of the screen when they do the fist raise.
I should have done my own research before posting, I just deleted it a few minutes ago. Digging deeper, I found that video was a return from a recent deployment video, not a pre-LA deployment video.

The Astronaut don't know shit - Los Angeles - aka; El Pueblo de Senora la Reina de Los Angeles de Porkiuncle was just a nick name for "Mrs Reina's Fat Assed Uncle Pebbles"

Google it - you'll see

Now, reading the DOJs argument here, seems like a slam dunk right? RIGHT?! I have played this game before. I fully expect this suit to be upheld, honestly.

Imagine playing this game with the lawsuit when the Mayor of LA has instituted a curfew due to rioting, looting, and general lawlessness.

DOJ slams Newsom's 'crass political stunt' over Trump's call-up of National Guard amid LA anti-ICE riots

Yea, I'm not sure Newsom wins this one. It can be "#concerning!" to Dems that Trump activated the the Guard when the state didn't want it, but that's not illegal. The CARNG troops aren't arresting people, so no Posse Comitatus violations.

This case will probably wind up splitting hairs, I.E. is riding along with ICE to provide a cordon LEO support or LEO duties?

Another thing might be the Marines, because there's more weirdness with when and how they get deployed stateside.

Yep, all great points. IF the deployed forces do exactly what they're ordered to do- provide security for federal buildings and allow ICE to do their jobs- seems like a big L for alleged lizard person Gavin.

But, as I said before, I have played this game. Fool me once, shame on... me? Fool me twice... you can't fool me again.

Can T10 status provide DSCA? I know T32 can

Can T10 status provide DSCA? I know T32 can

Yes, it just Becomes more restrictive on what they can do for law and civil order.
The example we've always get briefed is arrest authority.

T32- I might be authorized to serve as an LEO.
T10- Can't serve as an LEO w/o Insurection Act.

That's really broad and not all inclusive, but covers the major difference. I've only supported/been on standby to support natural disasters/crowd control on T32 status, so no idea what all would count as a forbidden LEO duty under T10.

Under T32, I did DSCA for the RNC/hurricane response in Tampa in 2012.. As an intel guy, I obviously couldn't do any intelligence activities.... so I did some hardcore force protection support in the city's Emergency Operations Center against any threats.. which was honestly only black bloc. Worked with all the local and federal agencies.

If Newsom was a real leader he would have activated the guard immediately to do riot force protection and prepare for riot work while also deploying other state LEO assets. Allowing jackasses to burn and loot businesses just makes you a fool.

Thanks for answering. Just an observation from your bolded; you mentioned the division between left and right as your most prescient problem, and then lobbed an untenable and unprovable ad hom at the leader of the right wing. Do you find that the least bit ironic? Maybe just a little?

How do you think Obama's 8 years affected this "left/right" division? When did that division start, in your estimation?

Woof. What court order did he ignore? Certainly, you aren't talking about the Supreme Court 9-0 ruling that prescribed the facilitation of a return of (alleged) human trafficker, charged illegal immigrant, charged wife beater (with a boot!), and MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrigo Garcia? Fun update- he's back, awaiting his trial for a new charge. So, technically, the US GOV complied explicitly with that court order, since, you know, he's here and awaiting trial for selling children into sex slavery.

To your bolded- which specific laws were changed? How did that make legal immigration harder?
Yes, I do—but it’s just how I feel.

I think Obama, while he didn’t really do much, was in office during a time when the left became arrogant. They assumed everyone would just think like them. Look at Hillary—she didn’t even visit the Rust Belt during her campaign. So when Trump won by appealing to those who felt left behind, I think it triggered the left into becoming more radical, especially since Trump likes to provoke them. That’s when it really kicked off.

He also ignored the order about the guys who went to South Sudan and the plane with the Venezuelans.

He ended the CBP One app, which allowed people at the border to request an appointment to seek asylum, along with another program for Venezuelans, Cubans, and Haitians. He also reduced the number of employees in the immigration office.

I'm cynical enough to believe he didn't activate the Guard so it would force a showdown with Trump.

I suppose we did lose 50 brave USCIS employees back in Feb.. Let's hope the decimation of the agency doesn't increase... /s

- Edit.. looks like of those 50, some of them actually gained their job back due to a court order. You have a different number you are tracking?

Ok, to sum up- yes your list is hypocritical, no, Trump hasn’t ignored any court orders, there are no new laws that make legal immigration harder (you either misspoke or made it up).

Plenty of precedents for POTUS calling in federal troops, a few of which I mentioned.

When we deployed to Miami with the paratroopers, we weren’t there to protect federal property. Oh, no, kiddies. We were issued face shields for our helmets and practiced riot control, in formation, bayonets fixed. We were there specifically for riot suppression.

My only regret is that we didn’t get to bash in any hippie brains because things never got that outta control.

Sad. 😩
