National Protest and 'disband the cops' discussion (and now ICE)

This is gonna get ugly fast…

ICE killed somebody trying to flee. Buddy of mine works downtown in st Paul that was sent home because they were concerned about unrest.

Another more graphic look…

I watched the video. It looks to me more like federal law enforcement officers used totally reasonable lethal force to defend themselves against someone that tried to murder them with their car.

You can't hit someone with a 4,000 pound lethal weapon and not expect consequences.

Here's how I think this will go down. Walz has already come out swinging, against the feds. No surprise. I think he will have the da move on murder charges, then it becomes a jurisdictional nightmare between the feds and the city/state.

March 11, 1989. Broward County. No narration, no scripted dialogue, no added sound effects. Only a little bit of theme music during the opening scrawl. The programing entirely dependent on the commentary of the law enforcement officers and the actions of the people with whom they come into contact. It was by many accounts, the modern birth of reality TV.

January 8, 2004 eight men and eight women from around the United States. Each had been successful in various enterprises, including real estate, restaurant management, political consulting, and sales. For 15 weeks these people gave up their rugged individualism to practice "communal living" in - you guessed it - New York City.
At the end of each episode, somebody's ass was getting told, "You're Fired"

2026 - tune in to any network TV station or one of the countless social media sites and you can see law enforcement officers and the actions of the people with whom they come into contact in a broad range of bizarre social interactions. No narration, no scripted dialogue, no added sound effects. Many of these interactions are QUITE violent. The Mayor of - you guessed it - New York City is now calling for the elimination of rugged individualism to be replaced by things like communal living and a turn to the soft hug of warm collectivism. If you sleep late on the weekend, you might wake up to video clips of an America-hating communist leaning avowed socialist South American strongman having an apoplectic fit - calling the guy that says "You're Fired" a coward, and then challenging him to 'come and get me'
...only to find out that the guy that says "You're Fired" sent a bunch of folks to tear up this guys house, blow up some of his shit, and remove him from his job
...and fly him back to - you guessed it - New York City.
...where the Mayor is an America-hating communist leaning avowed socialist

A quarter of a century ago - we the people couldn't get enough of this new thing called 'reality TV' - in our current timeline we no longer call it reality TV we just call it...

"The News"

We are living in one hell of an off-the-rails-timeline and I am MOTHER.FUCKING.LOVING.IT.
Happy New Year ShadowSpear !!!

You can in Minneapolis.
Deny No Way GIF

In FL if an LEO tells you to get out of the car you have to get out of the car. That isn't a grey area or negotiable.
What's the law in MN? What's the law where the driver was from? If a Fed is involved, what's the law? Do you have to unass or not?

End of the day, the driver hit one of the officers, that's pretty clear in one of the angles floating out there.

Regardless of what the truth is, the Left now has its anti-ICE martyr.

And martyrs can be very powerful...
I just need a photo of the dead terrorist, take the memes the left uses on who they cheered to be murdered themselves with Ashli Babbitt and put this "martyr" in her place and use it to do the same antagonizing that they themselves do.

normally yes, but....the problem is ERO has limited title 8 immigration authority...not title 18 and not police officers authority.

For an example, ERO goes to a house with an immigration civil arrest detainer. Bad guy opens the door, but does not want to come out....ERO cannot grab him from the inside of the house and arrest him....it's a really fucked up system for them...as the immigration detainer is not a criminal warrant. An ERO Officer is not the same as an ICE 1811 Special Agent or Border Patrol....that's one of the reasons you are seeing more Border Patrol guys getting involved in these operations.

I'm all for these ICE arrest operations, and fuck the crazies that are getting in the way....but I hate when these things happen that just give the left ammunition
