As to the board; best I've found is it's an Unpaid/volunteer thing. Now thats Reddit so grain of salt and all that. Local news mentions it as nonpartisan.
There are videos of someone whom resembles him giving some Evangelical sermons in (allegedly) the Democratic Republic of the Congo, but last I saw nobody had confirmed it was him.

If this was as simple as "right wing guy shoots left wing gal" we would have the manifesto, Walz and Co. talking about it, the motivation shouted from the rooftops, but we don't. 2025 America where every inflammatory statement is blasted across social media yet his motive isn't mentioned?

Interesting change in tactics with the violent leftist rioters. I'm seeing a lot more American flags and flags that merge the Mexican and American flags. I guess the optics of guys standing on burned-out cars waving a foreign flag inside a major American city was bad enough that they needed to switch it up a little.
Read an article on the work computer (which I can't find now) that stated it's just a procedural thing. Looked like prosecutors must request a grand jury for any charges that carry life imprisonment. The grand jury gets to decide if the prosecution gets to proceed with 1st degree or not.
I think that if someone dies in the commission of a felony you're perpetrating, you get charged with the body.
Tried and true- simply look at what the media *isn't* reporting. If there was a whiff of "white nationalism" or verified Trump support, it would be out.
I am in no way saying it doesn't exist (there are videos of his roommate stating he switched parties and was a Trump voter and watched InfoWars)- what I am saying is, if they had it, they'd be running with it. All that aside- I condemn the attack, whatever the motivations were. I don't care which "side" it came from, or none at all.
They aren't releasing the manifesto because "there isn't enough there"... so you're telling me you aren't releasing a nothingburger?
It really seems like the just ran with the term "manifesto" because the past major news shooting (Luigi) had one.

Right- so the question remains, at least in my mind- why not release it? The more information that comes out, the more it looks like dude was troubled and made an unexplainable choice for reasons we might not understand. I think a little transparency might do a bit of good on this one- if we actually care about turning the political rhetoric and temperature down a notch.
Here I will write the press statement.
"Ok, ya'll, we are going to release the manifesto- it's just the ramblings of a madman. It doesn't give us a ton to go on; but it also isn't a coherent ideology. We condemn violence of this nature, and we are releasing it to prevent mis/dis/malinformaion further inflaming this issue."
They got shot at least EIGHT TIMES each, and still lived? Ummmm.... that's a lot, even if someone were to use a shotgun and you count each buckshot pellet as a separate shot. I don't know what was used in this case. That's a lot of holes in someone for them to not be in the ground after.
Eh, I understand the arguement for not releasing manifestos/whatever information these shitheads were hoping would be published. Fuck giving them publicity to inspire others.
That said; that only works if everybody agrees to do it. If Fox/MSNBC/CNN/whatever Twitter journalist all wanna get a "scoop", then its a losing battle. We've (culturally) financially incitvized people to get their hands on this info, so it's gonna come out in some form or other eventually.

Damn, this is a pretty good example of placement being more important than quantity. Lucky as shit for both of them; hope their recovery processes go well.
