Thank you everyone for the greeting. I am still new here, and have been doing some reading...but I also wanted to let you all know that I have sworn in and have received the mos of 11x I decided on 11x because I am a mavni and mavnis do not get op4 or op 40 contracts but I don't mind working my way up from the first base and learning, and working my way upwards hopefully towards the goal. I am really excited just for the opportunity itself of being able to serve..and happy that I can start of in the infantry

FWIW fritz, service in the infantry is itself a special job.
One will be stronger for a follow on "goal" in many ways if they avail themselves of the personal and professional development which can occur there.

Please enlighten me - mavni? I'm not familiar with the term. Belay that, got it MAVNI, what's your language? I'm assuming you are not a Medical professional.

I've heard though and through some research see that its really hard to end up in a special forces unit unless you originally got in with a contract that guarantees access to at least the training grounds..I am happy to have gotten 11x though and will just work hard in that at the moment
And at x sf med..No I am not a medical professional, and I speak the language Hatian creole. Mavni is really nothing special, its just another access to allow someone who was born in another country to be able to enlist in the military. Despite not originally being born in the US..but because of that I couldn't get those contracts initially .. So I decided to start off with 11x because at least I can get some experience.. I guess after that..not sure which route to follow..but hopefully I can maybe get some help on this site...
But overall I am just grateful to serve

Hello everyone still new on this website and not sure if my post was read or not because i just realized the option that says (reply) lol geez..I can be a Lil slow..so I'm not sure if I was suppose to click reply or if when I post you all get notified.. Still new and learning the ropes here on this website. Also I am not sure, since I've posted the topic in the introduction form. Do i now have to go and get verified?
