Read the reviews for Garmont Tactical T8 670 compliant and the T8 Anthem Berry Amendment 670 correct. pay attention to the ones from the ruckers. Ya man, that dang comfy. I can literally be doing all kinds of things at my age in these boots and not have feet problems at any point in time. I haven't tried scaling rocks and small boulders with them yet so the jury is still out on that one. But my needs are satisfied for it's purposes for matches or class and requires some footwork over not the best terrain.

I’ve been asking around and doing some research and I’ve heard a lot of really good things about the Garmont T8 670’s. This definitely finalized my thoughts. I think I deserve a little Christmas present for myself, so I just bought a pair. I’ll give a little review once I break them in.

For me waterproof has never been a great choice. Because we are here in the forest. Just always carried spare socks, small towel, powder, etc.
I have a pair of Merrell sandals in my ruck for water crossings.

Y'all still remember Brigade Quartermaster catalogs right along with Ranger Joe's? At Hood I had done some staff duty sleepless runner thinking, and ordered a woobie with thinsulate from BQ, snail mail by check.

At the time I made the smart decision to buy my own instead of using the issued of someone's previously used spank DNA bank blankie.

I still have it and took it everywhere with me, it's going to be my death shroud.
