Hello, was on this site years ago but you all deserve another introduction. Retired Army, 25yrs, 22.5 Active. Started in 1987 as a NUG (New Ugly Guy) with the 12th SFG(A) in Arlington Heights IL, as a split OP. After completing basic and graduating high school, left WI and joined the RA. Went to FT Devens MA for an extended MOS (O5H Morse Intercept) training (1988-1989) and than went to the land of SOJU and Kimchi for a year. Volunteered to go to Group and ended up in 3/10th SFG(A) on a SOTA team from 1990-1995. I than joined the MAARNG and served in the 181 IN from 1995-1997. Missing the life of a paratrooper, joined the RIARNG and the 173rd IN DET (LRSD). After being laid off as a govt contractor for the USAF went AGR in RI with A/2/19th SFG(A). (1999-2000). I was than volun-told to go to recruiting from (2000-2004). After my stint in Recruiting I volunteered to deploy with a Infantry Company (3/172nd IN (MTN) to leave the land of misfit toys and deployed with them as a PLT SGT from 2005-2006. Returning from OIF I was than assigned to the 173rd IN DET (LRSD) as a AGR OPNS NCO/DET SGT (2006-2008). Thinking the grass was greener around a septic tank I volunteered to do a IST to the MAARNG and recruited from 2008-2010, again I proved my rocktardness. I volunteered to go back to the Infantry and served as a readiness NCO until my retirement in 2012. I am currently a Security Supervisor in a Nuclear Power Plant gazing at the stars. AATW!
11B and then 18B/18F. I avoided CRS all that acronym BS and CRS am fukn glad I did. Did I mention CRS. You made me dizzy.
