Army medic 2010 to 2014, one combat deployment with 1-10 CAV in 2011. Signed with the Colorado NG when I left active duty, was preparing to try out for 19th SFG but broke my ankle Xmas day 2014 and then the SFRE I was supposed to attend in the following year got cancelled. ETSed from the Guard shortly thereafter, finished paramedic school, did a season as a wildland firefighter. The siren song of soldiering grew louder each passing day, decided to commit myself to going back in. Found an ASOS in the Idaho ANG willing to work with me, in the process of signing with them as a TACP. Joined the forum in the hopes of connecting with ANG TACPs.
