I came from a Recon unit in the corps, I was a basic 0311 dude, nothing special; and I always wondered what makes recon so sneaky? Do they practice actual techniques and methods of remaining hidden, or is it just the mindset? Is it really nothing special? Weigh in if you've got some wisdom to bestow.

It's all about the amount of mud you can smear over your naked body to elude the Predator.
Recon isn't splinter cell. Guys avoid troops formations and observe from afar using concealment techniques and high powered optics.
