RE-ENLISTMENT WINDOW
I have been in the Army for 39 months now and I am in my re-enlistment window and I am kind of stuck I don’t know what route to take, Apart of me wants to drop a RASP packet and hopefully get into regiment my current MOS is 92A but at the same time I have a pending invoice for 19D because I wanted to reclass the only problem is that school date isn’t till September 2021. I am currently stationed on JBLM I am a SPC with 18 months TIG I don’t know if I should wait that long in order to reclass to 19D or I should just drop a RASP packet now get into regiment God willingly then switch my MOS to 19D after my first contract there. Or should I wait till September 2021 reclass to 19D then drop a RASP packet when my next window opens up in two years I need guidance warriors I am stuck between these two options help me understand what if I am not fully assessing the situation, given I have only been in the Army for 3 and half years I don’t have that much experience and most of you would.
