If they get the effective range out to 1800-2000m I think it's a hell of a great idea! This would make for one badass Squad level weapon, such as a SDMR for units in A-stan. The M107 is too heavy and bulky, it's GTG for Sniper teams but there needs to be a true Long Range rifle for the Squad/Platoon level. The M14 currently being used is lacking on range IMO. Something like this could allow PL/SL's to reach out and tuch the badguys with out having to use CAS/Arty, especially with the fucked up ROE joe is given there...
